Ok, The world is official going to end soon...

Here is a record of happenings during the past year. Please take notice of the first and last events. Enjoy the time you have. It's not going to last.

10/20/04 - The Boston Red Sox defeat the New York Yankees in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series, completing an unprecedented comeback from three games to none down.

10/27/04 - The Boston Red Sox sweep the St. Louis Cardinals to win the World Series championship for the first time since 1918.

12/26/04 - The strongest earthquake in 40 years originates from the Indian Ocean off the west coast of Sumatra island in Indonesia, measuring 9.3 on the Richter Scale and creating tsunami tidal waves that sweep across much of the coastlines of Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Burma, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. At least 290,000 people from South Asia to as far as Somalia in Africa are confirmed to be dead.

02/16/05 - The National Hockey League cancels its 2004-2005 season becoming the first North American professional league to cancel a season due to a labor dispute.

02/22/05 - More than 500 people are killed and over 1,000 injured after entire villages are flattened in an earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale in Zarand region of Kerman province in southern Iran.

04/02/05 - Pope John Paul II dies, causing widespread grief in the world.

05/13/05 - The final episode of the TV series Star Trek: Enterprise is broadcast in the United States. This episode may mark the end of the Star Trek franchise itself, which dates back to 1966.

05/19/05 - Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith released, effectively completing the Star Wars movie saga begun by George Lucas in 1977.

06/13/05 - Singer Michael Jackson acquitted of all charges of harming children. (Now murder, rape, and child molestation is legal for the famous.)

08/29/05 - Thousands of people (1,242 and counting) are killed, and severe damage is caused along the U.S. Gulf Coast, as Hurricane Katrina strikes the Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama coastal areas. Within hours, levees give way and New Orleans is flooded.

09/24/05 - Hurricane Rita hits the US Gulf Coast. The 9th Ward section of New Orleans floods for the 2nd time in a month and a half. Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and Alabama are also affected.

10/26/05 - The Chicago White Sox defeat the Houston Astros 1-0 to win the 2005 World Series in a four game sweep, giving the White Sox their first World Series title since 1917.

thats definately some deep shit, but it does put a lot of things into perspective. live every day like it was your last. its hard to do but is definately a reality in our times. I love you all.
