Detroit Zoo

On Monday, Amy and I went to the Detroit Zoo. Man, I haven't been there in YEARS! Even though it was pretty hot, we had a great time. Most of the animals were lying around due to the heat, and I don't blame them. I finally got to see the wolverines, which was cool. The newborn wolverine cubs weren't out though. But, there were NO Elephants! What the crap!! I heard that they've been moved to some Elephant reservation in Arizona, since they get too weak to such small quarters. Bunch of crap, is what that is. No freaking elephants. That sucked! Anyways, we went and saw the tigers (my favorite) twice. We got to see them fight for a second or two. All in all, it was a fun time, and it was nice for us to actually go do something.

This site will really make you think...

In the new issue of Playboy, they have a couple random postcards from http://postsecret.blogspot.com/, which lead me to go take a look at it. I've got to tell you, some of them (on the site) almost made me break down in tears. The whole deal with the blog is that people send (anonymously) a secret that they have been keeping on a postcard to one certain address. I guess it's a release, and it makes sense, doesn't it? I highly recommend everyone to check this site out and read all of them. Some of them are funny and ridiculous, however some of them are really heart tugging and uber-sad. Regardless, this is something to look at. If you have a secret that has been tearing you up inside, maybe this will help you let go of it without hurting anyone in the process.

It's Official

I got my apartment keys today! Which means I can start moving in tonight, which rocks. If anyone would like to help, give me a call. I don't have a ton to move, so I wasn't going to start calling around and asking. But hell, if you want to, the more the merrier! The first party will be soon, I promise. I'm also just 4 miles from Buffalo Wild Wings!!! I guess I know what's for dinner when Amy doesn't want to make me anything.

Finally on my own!!!

Well I just received possibly the greatest phone call ever. I GOT AN APARTMENT! Finally I'm going to be on my own. I can't wait. I can start moving in this Sunday, which rocks. It's a small apartment in Wixom, so I'll have to invite everyone over in shifts or maybe "open house" style. But regardless, everyone will have to stop by and hang out. More coming as I think of it.
