I am terribly saddened to have my next entry to be a memorial again. Jasmine Grey (born Michelle Grayshaw) died in a car accident on Saturday December 10, 2005. Reports from the Akron (Ohio) Beacon Journal say that she was driving her 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier when it went off the left side of the road, slid through a snow-filled ditch and struck a tree. Two other friends of hers were in the car and died as well.
I had the pleasure in meeting Jasmine on several occasions and having brief conversations with her. She was more beautiful in person that she was in pictures. Her beauty was only overshadowed by her kindness. She was a self-employed model and was always obliging to take a picture or two with a fan. I did not know her very well, but yet I am shocked and hurt to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family and friends. Unfortunately for me, I have selfish reasons for my sadness, for I never had the opportunity to work with Jasmine and was looking forward to the next time she was in town in hopes to set sometime up.
Beauty such as yours shouldn't be taken away so soon.
